Whoa. How is it December already?
It would be hypocritical for me to tell you, “Happy Holidays! Buy a book for every kid you know! Buy! Buy! Buy!” because as much as I love giving gifts, I don’t think we should feel obligated to buy a bunch of stuff. There are many ways to celebrate holidays, and gift giving is just one of them. (Sharing meals, sleeping in, and snuggling are some of my favorite forms of celebration).
With that said, if you are looking for a gift for a special kid and you’re interested in supporting a small DIY business, check out my book and other handmade goods at ThoraThinks.com. Thora dolls are currently on sale for $30 each ($10 off the original price), and buttons- which are also handmade and make great stocking stuffers- are on sale for $1 each.
*** For those who celebrate Christmas: To guarantee that you receive your package before the big day, place your order by midnight on Friday, Dec. 17th
On another note, thanks to Shellyfish at Musings From The Fishbowl for her thoughtful book review this week!
Bundle up and have a great weekend!
